Yesterday, all the students, plus Mrs. Updike wore their President Hinckley shirts. They looked great. We went to Surrender Field where the British surrendered to Washington. This is where these pictures are from. Today, we are going to the real Jamestown, where the people actually landed and died. We will be visiting the first church too. I will post more pictures of yesterday, with today's activities tonight. Sorry to be delayed.
What an amazing bunch of youth. Sharing such great wisdom. They are all happy and having fun.
On a wonderful note, last night one of the girls (her mother is on the trip) fell hard on her wrist. She was in a lot of pain. The men on the trip gave her a blessing that her arm would not be broken. Her mom took her to the ER last night and there was no break. She is doing well. It is so great to have the priesthood where ever you go!
These pictures are of our time at the Jamestown Memorial, which is a town that was set up so people could see what it was like. It is not the original spot of Jamestown. The original spot we will be at today, Sunday. There are also a few pictures at Surrender Field. It is HOT and HUMID.
